One of the UK's leading drinks businesses is looking for a strategic and commercially minded marketing leader to shape the future of its beer portfolio.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio that spans established market-leading brands alongside premium and craft propositions. You'll define the long-term category strategy across UK, Ireland and international markets, balancing the stewardship of a highly recognised core brand with the development of future growth opportunities.
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you'll operate close to the executive leadership agenda and lead a team of Brand and Innovation Managers, providing both strategic direction and people leadership.
You'll own the beer portfolio strategy from end to end, translating long-term vision into commercially successful plans that deliver sustainable growth.
Key deliverables:
- Build and lead the beer portfolio strategy across owned and partner brands in the UK, Ireland and international markets.
- Define and deliver the innovation and NPD agenda to drive category growth.
- Own performance against portfolio KPIs, including budget management and investment priorities.
- Lead insight-driven consumer and customer marketing plans in partnership with channel and communications teams.
- Shape the brand communication strategy across the portfolio.
- Develop and manage strategic brand partnerships.
- Build, coach and develop a high-performing team of Brand and Innovation professionals.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and industry partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
