You'll shape how Home Group keeps thousands of customers safe every day. As our Duty Holder and Accountable Person, you'll lead the frameworks, assurance and governance that give our Board, Executive Team and customers confidence that our homes are safe and compliant.
This is an exciting time to join us as we begin our next chapter under the leadership of our new CEO, Helen Meehan. You'll have real influence across the organisation, work closely with senior leaders and help shape the future of building and customer safety across one of the UK's largest housing providers.
What you'll do
- Lead Home Group's approach to building safety and landlord compliance.
- Act as Duty Holder and Accountable Person across our national portfolio.
- Design assurance frameworks that evidence compliance through insight, audit and data.
- Provide clear, risk-based reporting to the Executive Team, Board and governance committees.
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing team focused on customer safety.

You have
- Senior leadership experience in a complex, regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of building safety, fire safety and landlord compliance requirements.
- Experience designing and operating assurance and governance frameworks.
- A track record of influencing Executive teams, Boards and governance committees.
- A relevant qualification such as NEBOSH, CIOB or equivalent experience.
The practical bits
- You'll work Monday to Friday.
- You'll work flexible hours with flexibility built in.
- We typically work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in one of our offices in London, Birmingham, Leeds or Newcastle, with the rest from home.
- Car allowance included in your package.
- You need an Enhanced with barring list DBS check that we pay for.
