Business Development Director
Salary: Up to £70,000 basic
Location: UK national field-based role
FM Talent Partners is recruiting a Business Development Director for an established services business.
This is a hands-on commercial role focused on winning new clients, developing strategic accounts, and securing complex, multi-site service agreements.
Reporting to the national sales leader, you will develop a growth strategy for your market, build a strong pipeline, and work with business development colleagues to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify prospective clients through targeted research, outreach, and appointments.
- Develop account plans and pursue new opportunities across service lines.
- Build relationships with senior decision makers and procurement teams.
- Manage complex sales opportunities from discovery through negotiation and agreement.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrate the commercial value of proposed solutions.
- Support and develop business development colleagues as the team grows.

What We’re Looking For
- A proven track record of winning new business through consultative or solution sales.
- Experience selling contractual service solutions to organizations with multiple decision makers.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence navigating procurement processes and tenders.
- Relevant experience in facilities management, care, building services, or related sectors.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
