Business Development Director – Public Sector Digital Transformation
💰 £120,000 – £140,000 base | Uncapped OTE
📍 UK – Remote/Hybrid (London access preferred)

A fast-growing, specialist digital transformation consultancy focused entirely on the UK public sector. They partner with central government departments and public bodies to modernise legacy systems and redesign citizen-facing services.
They have a strong delivery reputation across high-profile government programmes, established framework routes to market, and an ambitious growth plan backed by leadership.
The Role
- Predominantly strategic new business, opening and closing net new accounts across central government and the wider public sector
- Leading complex, high-value opportunities from early engagement and shaping through to bid and contract award
- Building senior relationships with digital leaders, service owners, programme directors and commercial teams
- Working closely with delivery, consulting and bid teams to shape compelling, outcome-led propositions
- Genuine influence on go-to-market strategy and sector focus as the business scales

Requirements
- Proven new business track record selling services into the UK public sector, such as digital transformation, software development, CRM, data, cloud or AI consultancy
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, including frameworks (G-Cloud, DOS and similar), tenders and long sales cycles
- Comfortable engaging at Director and Deputy Director level across multi-stakeholder buying groups
- A natural hunter with the strategic mindset to build and land large, multi-year programmes
- Existing central government network highly advantageous
