Business Development Director – UK | Life Sciences & Healthcare Logistics
Are you at your best when you’re opening doors, building strategic relationships and turning complex customer challenges into long-term commercial partnerships?
We’re partnering with a global leader in specialist life sciences and healthcare logistics to identify a high-performing Business Development Director to drive growth across the UK.
This is a genuinely strategic commercial role with the opportunity to work across a broad portfolio of specialist solutions supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, CDMO, laboratory and healthcare organisations.
You’ll be responsible for developing new business, growing strategic accounts and building a high-quality sales pipeline across a defined UK territory.
What makes the opportunity interesting:
- Significant autonomy to develop and execute your own commercial strategy
- A broad, consultative service portfolio rather than a single-product sale
- Exposure to some of the most innovative organisations across pharma and biotech
- The backing, infrastructure and global reach of an established international organisation
- A role where commercial performance, customer relationships and strategic thinking are genuinely visible

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
