Business Development Director — Life & Pensions BPO
Location: UK (hybrid) | Package: Competitive base + high-reward commission / bonus
A leading business process outsourcing provider in the UK life and pensions market is hiring a senior originator to win new transformation deals. The business partners with much of the FTSE 100 in this space and is scaling its new business function.
The role
You'll own origination end to end: building pipeline, opening doors at C-suite level, and closing complex BPO and transformation deals worth up to £20m and beyond. You'll sell across both new logos and existing accounts, with a particular focus on defined benefit (DB) pensions within the bulk purchase annuity (BPA) market.

What you'll do
- Originate and close large-scale BPO and operational transformation deals
- Build senior relationships across insurers, pension schemes, trustees, and administrators
- Shape propositions around DB pensions and BP
- Farm existing accounts for growth alongside winning new business
What you'll bring
- A track record selling BPO or transformation deals in life, pensions, or wider financial services
- Experience originating at scale — multi-million-pound, complex, multi-year contracts
- A strong grasp of the DB pensions and / or BPA landscape
- Credibility with senior buyers and the drive to open cold doors
