Director of Campus: Rotherham College (Part of the RNN Group)
Hours: Full time (37hrs per week, all year round)
Duration: Permanent
Salary: A GBP 64,003 per annum + benefits
Location: Rotherham College, Rotherham (with occasional travel to other campuses within the RNN Group)
About The Role
Are you an ambitious senior leader ready to shape the future of Further Education in South Yorkshire? As Director of Campus, you will hold total operational and strategic leadership of Rotherham College and University Centre Rotherham (UCR). You will drive educational quality, inspire dedicated teams, and empower learners across the region to reach their full potential.
What You'll Do
- Drive Strategic Growth: Develop forward-thinking curriculum plans that respond directly to local, regional, and national skills and stakeholder agendas.
- Lead Quality and Operations: Oversee day-to-day campus operations, ensuring exceptional standards across Higher Education, apprenticeships, high-needs provision, and vulnerable learner groups.
- Inspire Teams: Line manage and mentor four Curriculum Managers, cultivating a culture of high performance, continuous professional development, and innovation.
- Build Regional Partnerships: Serve as a key ambassador, forging strong ties with civic leaders, local authorities, employers, and community stakeholders.
- Shape Group Vision: Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to hit funding targets, expand market share, and uphold the Group's core values.

What You'll Bring
- FE Leadership Track Record: Proven success in leading curriculum strategy, quality improvement, and curriculum change within Further Education.
- Sector Vision: Clear insight into external FE drivers, funding mechanics, and regional market needs.
- Stakeholder Impact: Strong commercial acumen and a collaborative approach to external relationship building.
Key Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent relevant vocational qualification)
- Recognised Teaching Qualification at level 5 or higher
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Evidence of ongoing professional development (CPD)
Department Info
You will report directly to the Vice Principal: Curriculum and play a crucial role in achieving corporate objectives as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for the line management of four Curriculum Managers and work closely with other Directors and senior leaders across the Group.
