Director of Channel Sales - Wholesale Connectivity
£120k Basic plus bonus, car allowance & benefits
Hybrid position based Berkshire & Home
Our client is a National Fibre Wholesaler who has partnered with the UK’s biggest fibre networks as well as creating their own platform, in their quest to offer unbeatable reliability and best in class security to clients nationwide. They sell wholesale connectivity into Channel Partner, Telecom Resellers, MSPs & ISPs and due to their rapid growth and phenomenal success, they are now looking to recruit a Director of Channel Sales.
The Sales Director is responsible for nurturing partner relationships in collaboration with our client’s sales teams. As Sales Director you will ensure they deliver best-in-class sales strategies to existing partners and forge new partner relationships.
- You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client’s customer base across all current and new channels to market.
- You will lead the Sales, Account Management and Business Development teams, providing them with the skills, clarity and empowerment to be successful as well as building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships and reciprocal business partnerships.
- You will also need to own and hit/exceed annual sales targets in a profitable and sustainable manner.

Ideal Candidate:
- Ideally a graduate, the successful applicant will have proven experience in a wholesale telecoms business/industry as an experienced Channel sales professional.
- Strong communication and leadership skills through collaboration as well as a strong understanding of the commercial wholesale market.
- Proven experience of meeting or exceeding sales targets will be essential as will being able to demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including Executive and C-level.
- Other areas that will enhance your application will be the proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, the proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services as well as the proven ability to position products against competitors. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills along with excellent verbal and written communications skills are a prerequisite.
