We’re hiring: Client Services Director - Healthcare Communications Industry
Are you an experienced client services leader with a passion for medical communications, science and building high-performing teams?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Client Services Director to join our growing team.
As an independent medical communications agency, we help bring science to life by creating clear, compelling communications around transformative therapies and complex diseases.
In this role, you’ll lead the strategy, performance and development of our Client Services function, while strengthening client partnerships, driving operational excellence and creating opportunities for growth.
🔬 What you’ll be responsible for
- Leading and developing a high-performing, inclusive Client Services team
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key clients
- Acting as an executive sponsor for strategic accounts
- Driving client services strategy in line with company goals
- Identifying and converting high-value new business opportunities
- Championing scientific excellence and quality across deliverables
- Improving processes, performance and operational efficiency
- Using data to support commercial and strategic decision-making
- Strengthening collaboration and alignment across the agency
- Ensuring strong governance, compliance and risk management

🌟 What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from someone with:
- A degree-level qualification in a relevant science
- Proven experience as a Group Account Director, Client Services Director or equivalent within a medical communications agency
- Extensive experience across medical affairs and commercial assets
- A strong track record of developing trusted client relationships
- Excellent leadership and people-development skills
- Experience driving operational excellence and process innovation
- Strong commercial awareness and data-driven decision-making skills
- A collaborative approach and willingness to share responsibility and support colleagues
