Role Description
The Director of Commercial Sales is a full-time, on-site and mobile position responsible for leading and growing the commercial sales division. This role oversees the end-to-end sales process for commercial accounts, including holiday parks, leisure facilities, and other business partners, ensuring strong pipeline development and consistent revenue growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Setting sales strategies
- Managing key commercial relationships
- Negotiating contracts
- Monitoring performance against targets
The Director will lead and mentor a sales team, coordinate sales operations, collaborate with marketing and operations on go-to-market initiatives, and ensure exceptional service standards throughout the customer lifecycle. The role also involves market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new opportunities aligned with the company’s premium brand positioning.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, including setting targets, developing strategy, and delivering sustained revenue growth.
- Experience in Sales Operations, such as pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and process optimization.
- Strong Team Leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and building a high-performing sales culture.
- Proven Account Management skills, with a track record of nurturing long-term commercial relationships and negotiating complex deals.
- Background in leisure, hospitality, construction, or related sectors is beneficial, particularly with commercial or B2B clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making, comfortable using CRM and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Sleaford, with flexibility to travel to client locations and showrooms as required.
- Relevant qualification in business, sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
