Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Compensation & Benefits to join our business.
In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of a global reward strategy that supports growth, performance and retention. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution, you will build scalable compensation, benefits and equity frameworks; provide trusted advice to senior leaders; and ensure reward investment is competitive, equitable, compliant and aligned with business priorities.

Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Design and implement a global reward strategy aligned to business growth and the attraction and retention of top technology talent across the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States of America and South Africa.
- Develop clear reward principles, governance and decision rights across fixed pay, variable pay, equity and benefits.
- Advise the CHRO, Executive team and Remuneration Committee on reward strategy, executive remuneration, market positioning and emerging risks.
- Translate complex reward topics into clear, commercially focused recommendations supported by robust data.
- Own global job architecture, salary structures, pay ranges and market positioning, ensuring they remain scalable and relevant across geographies and talent segments.
- Lead annual and ad hoc pay benchmarking using reputable market surveys, specialist technology data and peer comparisons.
- Lead the end-to-end annual pay review and bonus cycle, including budgets, modelling, governance, calibration, systems requirements, manager guidance and employee communications.
- Design, implement and govern annual bonus and variable pay arrangements that align individual, team and company performance with the business plan and strategic objectives.
- Design and implement a flexible benefits proposition and supporting platform that is relevant, inclusive, cost-effective and capable of scaling globally.
- Lead the ongoing review and harmonisation of benefits across countries and acquired businesses, balancing global consistency with local market practice and regulation.

What Success Looks Like
- A clearly articulated global reward strategy is agreed and embedded, with effective governance and executive sponsorship.
- Flexible benefits are implemented successfully, with strong employee adoption, reliable service and demonstrable value.
- Equity plans are administered accurately, compliantly and on time, with improved participant understanding.
- Annual pay and bonus reviews are delivered to timetable and budget, supported by high-quality data and decision-making.
- Pay structures and benchmarking improve market competitiveness, internal equity and critical-skill retention.
- Provider performance, costs and risks are actively managed through transparent service and commercial measures.
- Reward reporting provides timely insight to the Executive team and Board.
Qualifications & Experience
The right candidate for this role will have:
- Significant senior compensation and benefits leadership experience in an international, fast-paced organisation; technology, SaaS or digital services experience is strongly preferred.
- Successful design and implementation of a global or multi-country reward strategy.
- Demonstrable experience implementing flexible benefits and managing a benefits platform.
- Proven ownership of complex annual pay review, bonus and variable pay cycles, including plan design, financial modelling, accruals, governance, performance calibration, reporting and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Experience designing and managing company, functional and individual performance incentives, with the ability to assess payout mechanics, affordability, behavioural impact and alignment to business outcomes.
- Strong expertise in pay benchmarking, job evaluation, salary structures, executive remuneration and reward analytics.
- Experience managing multiple benefits providers and advisers across jurisdictions, with evidence of effective commercial and service governance.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions or integrations and creating scalable reward frameworks in a changing environment.
