International Packaging Business | London / Hybrid | Competitive Package
Are you a senior compliance / competition lawyer looking for a global role with real ownership, high visibility and the opportunity to lead an established compliance programme?
We’re partnering with a major international packaging business looking to appoint a Compliance Director into its lean and highly visible Legal & Compliance team.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a broad global compliance leadership role within a tangible, commercially focused business. The company already has a strong compliance programme in place, but there is real scope for the successful candidate to shape, improve and lead the function in a practical and risk-based way.
The role offers genuine breadth, senior leadership exposure and significant autonomy. You will work closely with stakeholders across legal, HR, internal controls, sales and procurement, advising on a wide range of compliance issues and helping to embed a strong, business-focused compliance culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
