The Opportunity

An international infrastructure business is seeking a Compliance Director to lead its compliance function across Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to build and enhance an enterprise-wide compliance framework within a fast-growing, multi-jurisdictional organisation.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide strategic oversight across regulatory compliance, corporate governance, financial crime, data protection, and risk, helping the business achieve its growth objectives while maintaining the highest compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the organisation's Compliance Management Framework.
  • Design and oversee a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and European regulations, including GDPR and data protection requirements.
  • Oversee Anti-Financial Crime programmes, including AML, sanctions, anti-bribery, fraud, and related controls.
  • Manage corporate policies, governance frameworks, and compliance reporting.
  • Coordinate internal reviews, external audits, and remediation activities.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on regulatory developments and compliance risk.
  • Deliver compliance training and promote a strong culture of ethics and accountability.
  • Support ISO certification programmes and continuous improvement of compliance processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
