Construction Director
Location: London
Salary: £120,000–£135,000 + up to 20% Bonus + 7k Car Allowance + Benefits
About the Role
Construction Director for a fast-growing UK leisure and hospitality business. They are looking to appoint a Construction Director to join its senior leadership team. Although many sites are near London, some are further north, so some regular travel across England will be required.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of major new-site fit-outs, refurbishment programmes and the ongoing improvement of an estate of 18 venues. Projects include substantial new developments with values of around £10m.

This is a hands-on role covering project planning, cost control, tendering, contractor selection, delivery, compliance and handover. You will work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, landlords and contractors while maintaining strong control over programme, budget, quality and risk.
You will also oversee refurbishment and improvement works across existing sites, together with broader estate and compliance responsibilities.

Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Senior construction leadership experience
- Large-scale fit-out and refurbishment experience
- Strong commercial and cost-management capability
- Experience within leisure, hospitality, entertainment or another multi-site consumer environment
- Excellent contractor and supplier knowledge
- Strong understanding of building regulations, compliance and health & safety
- A practical, hands-on approach
