About Rad Media

Rad Media is a Gen-Z multimedia group and creative agency, housing; Culted, CultedXO, and Rad Studio. Since our launch in 2019, we’ve been at the forefront of Gen-Z culture, producing and publishing content daily at the speed of social media. Our work spans fashion, beauty, art, sport, music, and youth culture - always with a forward-thinking perspective that resonates with young audiences.

Through our omni-channel approach and captivating content, we’ve built a fast-growing international audience of over 2.5 million users, establishing Rad Media as a trusted voice and partner for brands seeking authentic engagement with Gen-Z. We are now looking for a skilled and talented London based Creative Strategist to join our team on a full-time basis.

Core Tasks and Duties

Creative & Strategic Leadership

  • Own the creative strategy of the studio, ensuring it aligns with and reinforces the solutions required to solve our clients' business challenges
  • Own quality control across all deliverables, maintaining a high standard before work reaches clients
  • Be client facing: holding relationships, pitching ideas, checking in with them.
  • Lead the development of proactive IP, formats, and materials that keep our offering fresh and differentiated
  • Identify and develop activation opportunities that translate ideas into tangible client-facing products
  • Work closely with our media brands’ teams to ensure all audience insights are current and embedded in creative development

Team Leadership

  • Oversee the creatives across the business, providing clear direction and creative leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire team members, fostering an environment of going above and beyond
  • Delegate tasks as appropriate while ensuring quality meets Rad Media's standards
  • Provide clear direction and establish expectations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage team efficiency, innovation and AI use.
  • Manage a network of freelance strategists and creatives, briefing, reviewing, and ensuring consistency of output

Client & Brand Management

  • Challenge strategies, creative, and client direction that does not support solving our clients' business challenges & develop strategies to grow existing accounts and identify upsell opportunities
  • Act as an expert on the client's business, competitors, and industry, actively participating in the strategic development of our work
  • Manage relationships across major brand partners to create meaningful, impactful, and original activations
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of the client's brand, keeping the focus on their success and retention
  • Ensure all internal teams are briefed on projects and oversee delivery of work to a high standard, on time and within budget
  • Manage client expectations versus budget

Analysis & Business Growth

  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify trends, and optimise creative and campaign performance accordingly
  • Review key accounts quarterly, inputting on annual strategy for revenue growth and budget allocation for new hires
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within the client relationship
  • Understand the capabilities of our verticals and how each team and the global network can contribute to client success and retention
  • Apply solid project management skills to effectively manage many campaigns and deadlines simultaneously

The Successful Candidate

  • Experience managing and leading a creative team, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ambitious, passionate, with a solid work ethic
  • At least 10 years of experience in creative strategy, agency, or brand marketing, preferably within an agency or corporate marketing department
  • Proven track record of successful creative campaigns, demonstrating the ability to drive results and achieve business objectives
  • Experience managing budgets, analysing performance metrics, and providing actionable insights for optimisation
  • A passion for business, marketing, and all things media
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising, branding, and audience engagement
  • Culturally aware and genuinely interested in pop culture and passion points
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behaviour to develop effective creative strategies
  • Ability to understand the importance of brand and visual identity
  • Logical, solutions-oriented thinker with a positive, solution-first attitude
  • Resolves issues in a positive, constructive manner
