Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in men, and by 2035 around one million men in the UK are expected to be affected. To meet that challenge, we are pursuing an ambitious ten-year strategy focused on earlier detection, lifesaving research, better treatment, stronger services and reducing inequalities.

We are now looking for an exceptional Director of Customer Growth to help scale our reach, relevance and income at a pivotal moment for men’s health.

This newly created Executive Leadership Team role is designed for a leader who understands how customer insight drives commercial performance. Bringing together marketing, communications, customer engagement, insight and mass fundraising, you will build an integrated Customer Growth function with acquisition, retention, conversion and lifetime engagement at its core.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will lead audience and income growth plans across individual giving, community and events, supporter journeys, brand, campaigns and digital acquisition. Using data, segmentation, personalisation, AI and test-and-learn thinking, you will identify where growth can come from, respond to market trends, improve customer experience and turn insight into measurable performance.

We are particularly interested in candidates who bring a consumer-facing mindset and a strong grasp of how to grow demand, deepen relationships and build loyalty at scale. Your experience may bring a background in commercial customer strategy or another environment where customer behaviour, digital channels and commercial discipline shape growth and drive impact.
