Director of Data

London | Hybrid - Up to £180,000 + Bonus + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced technology and data leader to join a fast-growing, data-driven business undergoing significant transformation.

This role will take ownership of multiple functions across Data, Analytics, Engineering, IT and Business Systems, bringing together established teams under a single vision while accelerating the use of data and AI across the organisation.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing multidisciplinary technology and data teams
  • Driving a unified data and technology strategy across the business
  • Creating a 360-degree view of customers through improved data utilisation
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage AI for business value and operational efficiency
  • Aligning technical and commercial stakeholders around key priorities
  • Enhancing customer insight, decision-making and revenue growth
  • Delivering quick wins while shaping long-term capability

About You

We're looking for a hands-on leader who can balance strategy with execution.

You'll likely bring:

  • Experience leading multiple technology, data or analytics functions
  • A strong understanding of data platforms, architecture and business systems
  • Proven success driving change in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Confidence making decisions and creating organisational alignment
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build high-performing teams
  • Exposure to AI initiatives, customer analytics, product-led organisations or high-growth businesses would be advantageous.
