Salary: Up to £138,876 + £9,750 Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits Location: Home-Based with regular travel across the Midlands Basis: Permanent, Full-Time

You'll play a pivotal role in helping us deliver better services, make better decisions, and create a more connected organisation for the future.

As our Director of Data, Applications & AI, you'll lead that transformation. You'll provide strategic leadership across business applications, data, and AI, helping us move from individual initiatives to a joined-up capability that supports customer services, operational delivery, and future innovation.

What you'll be doing
- Leading our Applications, Data, and AI function and shaping its future direction.
- Driving the continued development of our business application landscape.
- Establishing Microsoft Fabric as our trusted enterprise data platform.
- Developing reusable data products and trusted organisational insight.
- Shaping Platform's responsible adoption of AI and automation.
- Providing confidence and assurance to the Executive Team, Board, and Committees.
- Leading and developing senior managers and specialist teams.
- Building strong relationships across the organisation and with strategic suppliers and partners.
- Creating a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
You'll be an experienced strategic leader with the credibility to influence at senior level and translate technology, data, and AI into meaningful business outcomes.
You'll bring:
- Significant leadership experience across technology, applications, data, digital, or AI within a complex organisation.
- Experience delivering and operating enterprise application and data platforms at scale.
- A track record of leading transformational change and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing significant supplier relationships and budgets.
- Experience implementing AI, automation, or advanced analytics with measurable business benefits.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with Executive leaders and operational teams alike.
- A passion for developing people and creating high-performing teams.
- Most importantly, you'll understand that technology is at its most powerful when it helps people thrive and improves the experience of customers and colleagues alike.

Where you'll be based
This is a home-based role, with regular travel (typically 2-3 days per week), mainly to Solihull and across our operating areas. You'll need to be ready to travel at short notice when required.
