Do you want to shape the technical future of a growing AI SaaS business? Can you lead Data Science, Data Engineering and Application Development teams through enterprise-scale delivery? Interested in building a Product Engineering organisation with genuine influence on company growth and strategy?

We're partnered with an AI-powered SaaS business helping enterprises unlock value from large-scale first-party customer data through AI, analytics and decision intelligence. Their platform combines Data Science, Data Engineering and application development to deliver customer growth solutions across Financial Services, Insurance, Retail and Healthcare. Having recently secured several major enterprise clients, the business is entering a new phase of growth and platform maturity. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the CPTO while helping scale the technical organisation and product platform.

This is a Director of Product Engineering position responsible for leading Data Science, Data Engineering and Application Development across the business (7 total reports). You'll own technical leadership, architecture, delivery quality and organisational development while supporting enterprise client implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Product Engineering organisation across Data Science, Data Engineering and Application Development.
  • Build scalable operating models, standards and delivery processes.
  • Own technical architecture, solution design and engineering quality.
  • Develop technical leaders and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
  • Drive collaboration across Data Science, Data Engineering and software development functions.
  • Engage with enterprise clients and senior stakeholders on technical strategy and delivery.
  • Ensure strong productionisation, governance, deployment and platform reliability practices.

  • Salary Range: £140,000 base + share options
  • Working Model: 4 days per week onsite in London, with occasional client visits across the UK and Europe
