Director of Data – Transformation - Leeds
Up to 120k per annum plus excellent benefits & bonus – 3 days per week on-site expected, two days from home.
Director of Data required for an established organisation that is progressing through significant business & technology transformation. This includes systems, integration and data management. Ideally you will be a proven leader within data & technology, who has experience delivering a variety of transformation programmes.
Ideally you will have gained experience working in a regulatory environment, since this would be important for this role. The organisation’s technology stack in heavily focused on Microsoft and Databricks.

Within the role:
- The role is weighted towards applications, data & integration – with a key objective of getting more value from the core systems and turning data into a reliable, insightful information.
- Due to the size of the team and the organisation, this will be a strategic role but remain hands-on with the day to day of the technology within the business.
- Within the role you will own the group application estate and the integration layer, whilst also owning the organisations data platform.
- You will also be responsible for owning vendor & supplier management across the technology and data estate.
Previous experience required:
- Senior data & technology leader with a breadth of experience across the data & technology domain, with a clear strength in applications and data/integration.
- Previous success in leading digital transformation programmes and delivering measurable operational improvements.
- Proven understanding of modern data platforms and experience integrating and managing a SaaS application estate through an integration platform.
- Strong vendor & commercial management – selecting and holding suppliers to account, negotiating contracts and managing budgets.
