Job Summary

The Director of Digital & Technology Transformation Deployment Analytics, EMEA is responsible for establishing and leading the EMEA D+TT Analytics Control Tower, providing executive visibility into deployment readiness, program health, performance impact, risk management, and value realization across Marriott's Digital & Technology Transformation initiatives. The role ensures that EMEA leadership can effectively monitor, govern, and optimize major technology deployments, including ACRS and future transformation programs, through trusted analytics, reporting, automation, and actionable business insights.

The Director partners closely with D+TT program leadership, Commercial Analytics, Global Analytics teams, Operations, Finance, IT, field stakeholders, and external partners to transform fragmented reporting into a single, integrated operating model that enables earlier intervention, faster decision-making, and stronger business outcomes. The role serves as the EMEA operating layer between global reporting solutions and local execution, ensuring that deployment risks, readiness concerns, configuration issues, and performance impacts are identified early and addressed effectively.

The position is responsible for creating existing and new, scalable reporting frameworks, developing automated audit and validation capabilities, measuring commercial impact, improving data governance, and delivering clear executive-level narratives that support deployment success and value realization across the region.

Scope

Location Requirements: The position can be located in London, Eschborn, or Cape Town. Dubai is only considered on an exception basis.

Language Requirements: High proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) in English is required.

Core Work Activities

Leading DTT Analytics and Performance Monitoring

  • Leads, establishes, and operates the EMEA DTT Analytics Control Tower supporting major transformation initiatives across the EMEA region.
  • Develops a single trusted leadership view of deployment readiness, program progress, escalation trends, risk indicators, and value realization.
  • Measures and communicates the business impact of DTT initiatives, including commercial performance outcomes and operational effectiveness.
  • Creates executive reporting and leadership communications that simplify complex data into meaningful business insights.

Driving Reporting, Governance, and Data Quality

  • Establishes governance standards, metric definitions, and reporting controls supporting consistent decision-making across stakeholders.
  • Oversees data quality, reporting accuracy, and governance processes across deployment, readiness, escalation, and validation reporting.
  • Localizes global reporting capabilities and dashboards to address EMEA business requirements and leadership needs.
  • Ensures alignment with Commercial Analytics standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.

Building Automation and Early Warning Capabilities

  • Develops automated reporting, validation, and monitoring solutions that reduce manual effort and improve responsiveness.
  • Creates early warning indicators to identify configuration, booking, readiness, and performance anomalies before business impacts occur.
  • Designs scalable audit and validation frameworks supporting deployment quality and operational readiness.
  • Drives continuous improvement of reporting processes, controls, and deployment monitoring capabilities.

Supporting Deployment Success and Value Realization

  • Partners with deployment teams to understand program timelines, business requirements, risks, and operational impacts.
  • Provides leadership visibility into deployment readiness, stabilization progress, and adoption outcomes.
  • Develops reporting frameworks that demonstrate commercial value, risk reduction, and program benefits.
  • Supports executive sponsors and regional leaders with timely, decision-ready recommendations and business insights.

Candidate Profile

Required

  • Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in analytics, business intelligence, consulting, transformation, commercial strategy, revenue management, technology, or related disciplines.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a complex, matrixed global environment.
  • Experience presenting analytical insights and recommendations to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale reporting, analytics, or transformation programs.

Preferred

  • Hospitality industry experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology implementations or digital transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of hotel operational and commercial performance metrics, reservation systems, distribution systems, or revenue management environments.
  • Experience measuring value realization, adoption, and performance impacts associated with transformation initiatives.

Demonstrating Leadership

  • Champions a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement.
  • Influences stakeholders without direct authority to achieve shared business outcomes.
  • Communicates complex topics clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Creates alignment around priorities, actions, and success measures across multiple stakeholder groups.

Technical and Analytical Expertise

  • Advanced experience with business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization platforms.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including data interpretation, governance, performance measurement, and executive reporting.
  • Experience leveraging multiple data sources to build integrated reporting and decision-support capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and related analytical technologies preferred.
  • Understanding of automation, reporting architecture, and scalable analytics processes.
