🌿 About Us
Sarah Ali Philanthropy Inc. helps movements, nonprofits, and mission-driven people raise more money, generate more advocates, and fulfill their missions with heart and excellence. We blend strategy and soul to grow purpose-driven philanthropy from the roots up.
We don’t believe in transactional fundraising. We believe in storytelling that moves people. Stewardship that feels like care. And campaigns that bloom into movements.
If you’re a leader, a relationship builder, and strategist at heart, with a deep love for community and a hunger to learn and lead, we’d love to meet you.
💼 About the Role
As a Director of Development, you’ll develop the strategy and execution of multi-channel fundraising campaigns across mid-level, major donor, monthly giving, corporate, non-cash gifts, events, and legacy giving programs.
You’ll lead a team of fundraisers and collaborate closely with Project and Account Managers to craft donor experiences and client relationships that are as thoughtful as they are effective.
🧠 What You’ll Do
Strategy & Planning
- Lead annual and program-specific fundraising strategies for multiple clients.
- Map donor journeys and lifecycle strategies: acquisition, conversion, upgrade, retention, and reactivation.
- Run strategic planning sessions, audits, and client workshops.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
