Director of Development and Marketing
Worth Abbey Group is seeking to appoint an ambitious, strategic and relationship-focused Director of Development and Marketing to lead this newly integrated function at a pivotal moment in the Group’s development. This senior appointment brings together Development, Marketing, Communications, Alumni Relations and External Engagement for the first time, creating a unified approach to profile-raising, philanthropy and stakeholder engagement.
Occupying a distinctive place at the intersection of education, faith and community, Worth Abbey Group brings together Worth School, Worth Abbey and a growing commercial portfolio. Working closely with the Abbot, Head Master, Trustees and senior colleagues, the Director of Development and Marketing will lead an ambitious strategy to enhance the Group’s profile, influence and long-term sustainability. The postholder will oversee fundraising, alumni and stakeholder engagement, as well as the Group’s brand and communications, while building partnerships and a culture of philanthropy to support future growth and resilience.
This is a broad and high-profile leadership role requiring strategic vision, commercial acumen and exceptional relationship-building skills.
