Director of Digital Engagement & Business Partnering
Midlands | Hybrid | £100,000 - £115,000 per annum | Excellent Benefits
We are supporting a leading professional services organisation with the appointment of a newly created Director Technology Business Partnering. This is a high profile leadership opportunity for an experienced digital and technology leader to strengthen the relationship between technology and the wider business, ensuring digital investment delivers measurable commercial and operational outcomes.
Working closely with executive stakeholders, you will shape the organisation's 5 year digital strategy, influence investment decisions and help define the future technology operating model. Leading a small team of Business Partners, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation across a complex and evolving organisation.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Digital and Technology Business Partners, creating a commercially focused and customer centric function
- Build trusted relationships with senior and executive stakeholders, acting as a strategic adviser on technology and transformation
- Develop digital roadmaps aligned to business objectives and measurable outcomes
- Shape and evolve the digital and technology target operating model, aligning people, processes, governance and technology
- Assess, prioritise and manage technology demand, balancing value, cost, risk and complexity
- Develop robust business cases and secure investment for strategic initiatives
- Support successful delivery of transformation programmes through close collaboration with business and technology leaders
- Promote innovation, continuous improvement and user centred digital transformation
Requirements
- Significant experience in digital transformation, technology strategy or technology enabled business change
- Proven experience developing, implementing or evolving a Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Strong track record of influencing executive level stakeholders and shaping strategic decisions
- Experience building business cases and securing investment for technology initiatives
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of investment prioritisation, benefits realisation and supplier management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes

Desirable Experience
- Experience within a large, complex or multi-stakeholder organisation
- Exposure to professional services, regulated environments or similar sectors
- Knowledge of governance, risk management and digital investment frameworks
- Experience leading organisational and cultural change programmes
This is a permanent opportunity offering a salary of £100,000 - £115,000 per annum, based in the Midlands with a hybrid working pattern. The role is ideally suited to a senior digital or technology leader seeking to combine strategy, operating model design, transformation leadership, commercial decision-making and executive stakeholder engagement.
