We are partnering with a globally respected leader in accredited medical education to find their next Director of Educational Development, a high-impact role at the intersection of healthcare, education, and business development.
This is an opportunity to shape how medical knowledge reaches healthcare professionals across Europe and beyond, working alongside leading biopharmaceutical partners while driving significant commercial growth for an established, mission-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow strategic relationships with biopharmaceutical companies
- Deliver against a $1.5M sales target within the first year
- Sell a portfolio of multi-format CME solutions, including live symposia, virtual webcasts, and on-demand learning
- Lead grant strategy across international markets, with a priority focus on Europe
- Represent the business at global conferences and industry events (approximately 40% travel)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with scientific strategy, grant operations, and partnership teams

Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience in CME sales or strategic, consultative selling
- Demonstrable track record selling into pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
- Strong understanding of CME processes, accreditation, and grant funding
- Proven relationship-building skills and strong business acumen
- Ability to work confidently across cultures, disciplines, and geographies
- Multilingual skills and knowledge of adult learning principles are advantageous
