Head of Product Engineering
Holborn, London | Hybrid (4 days office) | £140,000 - £150,000 + Share Options
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing AI and data consultancy at a pivotal stage in its growth. You'll take ownership of the Product Engineering function, helping build a scalable delivery model while leading multidisciplinary teams across Data Engineering, Data Science and Application Development.

The Role
You will be responsible for leading and evolving the Product Engineering function, improving how technical teams deliver solutions and supporting client engagements.

Responsibilities include:
- Building a scalable and repeatable engineering function
- Leading Data Engineering, Data Science and Development teams
- Driving engineering standards, processes and best practices
- Supporting architects and delivery teams to improve project execution
- Working directly with clients as a senior technical leader
- Influencing technical strategy, team structure and future growth
- Creating reusable frameworks, tools and delivery approaches
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership experience within a consultancy or services environment
- Experience building, scaling or transforming engineering functions
- Background leading multidisciplinary Data Engineering and Data Science teams
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies and engineering best practice
- Experience working with first-party customer data and analytics solutions
- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on technical levels
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and enterprise clients
