Lead. Transform. Deliver. Make an impact.

HEP is a forward-thinking, innovative education organisation helping to reshape how students access and experience higher education in the UK. Working with leading university partners, we combine education, technology, data and innovation to create better outcomes for students and partners.

We’re ambitious, fast-moving and not afraid to challenge traditional ways of working — we’re building the future of higher education, not simply following it.

We’re looking for an ambitious, hands-on senior Contact Centre leader to lead HEP UK’s Contact Centre and Enrolments function. This is a fast-paced, commercially driven environment where you’ll lead large teams, drive conversion and revenue, and continuously improve operational performance.

You’ll be a visible and hands-on leader, comfortable getting into the detail, understanding the data, challenging performance, coaching your leadership team and turning insight into action. You’ll bring significant senior leadership experience within a Contact Centre, Enrolments, Admissions, Sales or Customer Operations environment, with a proven track record of delivering commercial and operational targets through high-performing teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll need strong experience in conversion optimisation, customer journey management, workforce and operational performance, alongside the ability to use data to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvements. We’re looking for someone who has led through change and continuous improvement and is excited by the opportunity to use AI, automation and technology to create a smarter, more productive Contact Centre.

This is not a role for someone who wants to lead from a distance. We need a confident, energetic and commercially minded senior leader who thrives on pace, challenge and accountability, while developing their people and creating a high-performance culture.

Most importantly, you’ll be leading a function with a meaningful purpose. We’re not just selling a product – we’re helping people access education and create opportunities that can change the direction of their careers and lives.
