A Defining Leadership Opportunity

As part of our new leadership structure, we are seeking a Director of Environmental Buildings to join the Leadership Team and lead the performance, growth and future development of our Environmental Buildings business unit.

For almost 50 years, our reputation has been built on technical excellence, quality of delivery, sustainability, and trusted client relationships. We have successfully competed against some of the largest built environment consultancies in the UK and internationally whilst maintaining the agility, culture and ambition that differentiates us in the market.

Environmental Buildings represents the largest part of our business and plays a critical role in our performance, reputation and future success.

This is not simply an operational leadership role.

It is an opportunity to shape the future direction of the business, lead exceptional people, strengthen client relationships and create an environment where our teams can thrive, develop and deliver their best work.

As a member of the Leadership Team, the Director of Environmental Buildings will be responsible for driving growth, performance, profitability and operational excellence whilst ensuring we continue to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients and projects.

The successful candidate will play a defining role in shaping what the next chapter of our Environmental Buildings business looks like.

The Role

Reporting To The Managing Director And Serving As a Member Of The Leadership Team, The Director Of Environmental Buildings Will Be Accountable For

  • The overall performance, growth and profitability of the Environmental Buildings business.
  • Strategic planning and business development.
  • Leadership and development of Studio Directors.
  • Client engagement, relationship management and repeat business.
  • Operational excellence and delivery performance.
  • Resource planning, utilisation and forecasting.
  • Project governance, commercial performance and risk management.
  • Bid assurance and strategic pursuits.
  • Talent development, succession planning and future leadership capability.
  • Strengthening collaboration across teams, disciplines and business units.
