We are partnering with a high-growth, international technology business to appoint a Director of Equity Reward.

Reporting to the Global Head of Reward, this role will lead the design, governance and execution of executive compensation, equity and long-term incentive programmes across a complex global organisation.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in equity compensation, combined with experience operating in private equity-backed environments where growth, value creation and leadership retention are central to business strategy.

This is a senior individual contributor role with significant exposure to executive leadership, investors and key internal stakeholders. It offers the opportunity to influence reward strategy at a pivotal stage in the company's growth journey.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the executive compensation agenda, including annual and long-term incentive programmes (Management Incentive Plans)
  • Manage executive and senior leadership benchmarking, reward design and package structuring.
  • Partner with Finance to review and assess incentive performance measures and outcomes.
  • Own equity and long-term incentive programmes, including grant cycles, participant communications, governance, valuation processes and compliance requirements.
  • Support transaction activity, including executive retention programmes and incentive design associated with M&A and corporate events.
  • Manage relationships with external reward, legal and tax advisers.
  • Provide clear and pragmatic advice to senior leaders on complex reward matters.
  • Build strong relationships across Executive Leadership, HR, Finance and Talent Acquisition functions.
  • Ensure reward programmes remain aligned with evolving regulatory and governance requirements globally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
