This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of our Property Implementation Plan, ensuring that our estate supports the Trust's strategic objectives and enhances the experience of patients, service users, staff and communities.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director of Property, you will provide inspirational leadership to the Property Team, using the physical environment as a key enabler of high-quality service delivery. You will ensure our estate is safe, sustainable, flexible, fit for purpose and delivers value for money, supporting both current and future healthcare needs.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our estate and ensuring our physical environments support the delivery of exceptional care for our communities. You will join a forward-thinking organisation committed to innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Supporting the Executive Director of Property in taking opportunities for integration with the wider system capital allocation, efficient procurement and prudent allocation of financial and staff resources to maintain and manage safe environments and sound asset management and financial principles.
  • Responsible for the effective management of the property revenue and capital budgets as well as developing a capital investment strategy, preserving the value of the Trusts assets, adding to the portfolio as necessary and releasing land when it is surplus to requirements. This role is responsible for a revenue budget of £16m, assets worth £80m and projects up to £50m.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
