# Raffles London – Head of European Leisure Sales (The OWO, London)
About Raffles
Raffles London at The OWO on London’s Whitehall blends Raffles’ rich heritage with one of the world’s most historic addresses—a Grade II* listed Edwardian building. Rooted in luxury, glamour, and adventure, it houses 120 rooms/suites, 85 branded residences, nine restaurants, and three bars (including one by chef Mauro Colagreco), alongside Guerlain spa, Pillar Wellness, and the grand 600-seat ballroom, The Whitehall.

About the Role
Responsible for leading and managing the European Leisure markets sales for rooms, events, and banqueting at Raffles London OWO. Key objectives:
- Drive follow-up on all sales calls/leads in line with Raffles standards and targets.
- Cultivate relations and grow brand recognition, ensuring timelayer budget adherence.
- Deliver luxurious, high-quality service by collaborating with event teams, concierge, and operations.
Responsibilities
Operation & Strategy
- Penetrate assigned European Leisure markets (luxury holidays, families/extended stays, repeat guests) to position Raffles as London’s top-tier luxury hotel.
- Develop a sales strategy in alignment with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Sales, staying within budget constraints.
- Attend sales missions, networking events, trade shows/exhibitions to expand opportunities.
- Prospect new accounts via calls, emails, virtual pitches, and in-person visits, tracking progress in Raffles’ CRM.
- Lead key account management, ensuring revenue maximization for top-tier clients.
- Monitor market pivots (e.g., economic changes, school holidays, state visits) to adapt strategies and stimulate alternative demand.
- Analyze competitor activity while staying current on meeting dates, cultural/political events, and school schedules.

Client & Relationship Management
- Host fam trips to Raffles London for key opinion leaders/buy trashers, aligning logistics/funding and enhancing guest loyalty.
- Collaborate with Reservations to creatively fulfill client requests while adhering to timeliness and service excellence.
- Manifest on-site presence for VIP arrivals, offering hands-on VIP support and “hands-on” operations knowledge.
Business Development & Compliance
- Advanced understanding of revenue management, working with the Director of Revenue Strategy to hit goals.
- Accurate upkeep of sales databases, logging bookings and enquiries to maintain a clean CRM system.
- Ensure payment clarity to clients while complying with booked schedules.
- Immediate line-management responsibility in the Director of Sales’ absence.
Sales Function & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Serve as a cross-workforce asset, stepping into other duties if required (e.g., F&B service, events).
- Contribute to trade marketing/promo materials alongside Director of Sales & Communications.
- Empower sales growth through entrepreneurial thinking—exceeding boundaries to deliver exceptional results.

Key Qualifications
Essential
- Proven European Leisure market expertise in a luxury environment.
- 2+ years experience in similar luxury hotel roles (room/event sales).
- A network of high-level contacts in corporate or diplomatic markets.
- Track record of high-pressure service—demonstrated via performance metrics.
- Immaculate communication and customer service (written/spoken English).
- Multitasking prowess with precise time management and discretionary work hours.
Desirable
- Past roles in 5-star luxury hotels (LQA, Forbes-recognized).
- Professional French (written/verbal).
