Events Director – Experiential Agency – London, up to £58k + benefits

Our client is a leading creative events and brand experience agency looking for a creative Director of Events to lead the delivery of high-profile events, hospitality programmes and client relationships across a diverse consumer portfolio. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for event delivery, team management, commercial performance and business growth.

You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex live experiences, acting as a trusted advisor to clients while leading and developing a talented events team. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable managing large-scale event operations, driving commercial performance, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of high-profile events and hospitality programmes from concept through to execution.
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and long-term account growth.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, commercial performance and profitability.
  • Lead, mentor and develop event managers and coordinators.
  • Oversee supplier relationships, production requirements and operational excellence across multiple projects.
  • Contribute to new business activity, proposals, pitches and growth opportunities.
  • Drive process improvement, innovation and best practice across the events function.

About You

  • Significant experience leading complex events, hospitality programmes or experiential projects.
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to influence and build relationships at senior levels.
  • Commercially minded with excellent budgeting, financial management and resource planning skills.
  • Proven people leadership experience with a collaborative and supportive management style.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Broad understanding of event production and operational delivery.
