- Manage and lead the reactive M & E team on property sales team.
- Solicit and confirm catering business and develop the groups market.
- Maximise meeting and events revenue and profit by ensuring that the M & E meeting spaces are effectively sold.
- Design proposals that meet with the clients needs and expectations.
- Conduct show rounds that show case the hotels assets and be flexible with the needs and requests of the client.
- Ensure that clear and accurate function sheets are put together and passed to the operations team and will be on hand to support the execution of events as and when required.
About You
- Quickly understand the strategic positioning of the hotel within the 5 star market and have 5 star experience within events.
- Understand financial management tools and use them to predict and affect the hotels position.
- Good understanding of how to successfully execute social and special events along with corporate meetings and groups.
- Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Confidence and the ability to communicate with others and build up a strong rapport.
