Director of Event Sales

We are looking for an experienced Director of Event Sales to join a luxury 5-star hotel in Central London.

This is a really exciting role for someone who is strong on the proactive sales side of events and enjoys getting out into the market, building relationships and bringing new business into the hotel.

The hotel has a fantastic range of event spaces, from private dining and smaller meetings through to large-scale events for up to 500 guests. There is a lot of opportunity to grow the events side of the business, particularly across corporate events, luxury brands, product launches, private events and celebrations.

As Director of Event Sales, you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively bringing in new events business
  • Building relationships with agencies, event planners, corporate clients and luxury brands
  • Growing existing accounts and repeat business
  • Managing your sales pipeline and working towards revenue targets
  • Getting out into the London market through networking, client meetings, site visits and industry events
  • Identifying new opportunities and revenue streams
  • Working closely with the wider Sales, MICE, Marketing, Revenue and Operations teams

We are looking for a Director of Event Sales who already has good knowledge of the London events market and a strong network.

You could currently be working as a Director of Event Sales, Senior Event Sales Manager, Head of Event Sales or Senior Business Development Manager within a luxury hotel, premium events venue or similar environment.
