As we continue to grow, we are looking for an exceptional Director of Finance to join our Executive Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the hotel's financial success.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

As Director of Finance, you will lead the hotel's finance function and act as a key strategic business partner to the General Manager and Executive Committee. You will take ownership of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, compliance and commercial performance, ensuring the hotel delivers strong financial results whilst maintaining robust controls and governance.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys balancing strategic leadership with hands-on operational involvement.

What you'll be doing...

  • Leading the finance function, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant accounting across all areas of the hotel.
  • Acting as a trusted business partner to the General Manager and Executive Team, providing clear financial insight and commercial support.
  • Delivering monthly management accounts, forecasts, annual budgets and owner reporting packs.
  • Managing cash flow, working capital and capital expenditure planning.
  • Taking ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial integrity across all reporting.
  • Maintaining robust controls over revenue, payroll, purchasing, payments, banking and cash handling processes.
  • Supporting owner, operator and Hyatt brand reporting requirements.
  • Ensuring ongoing audit readiness, statutory compliance and adherence to RBH financial standards.
  • Monitoring business performance, identifying risks and opportunities and supporting corrective action plans.
  • Providing insightful financial analysis to support profitability improvement, payroll productivity and cost control.
  • Leading finance system controls and ensuring reporting platforms are used effectively and accurately.
  • Building strong relationships with owners, auditors, Hyatt representatives and RBH support teams.
  • Supporting business initiatives, projects and continuous improvement opportunities across the hotel.
  • Protecting sensitive financial information and maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.

PEOPLE LEADERSHIP

As a member of the Executive Team, you will play an important leadership role across the hotel.

You Will

  • Lead, coach and develop the finance team, creating a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Establish clear objectives and performance expectations.
  • Support department heads in developing stronger commercial awareness and financial ownership.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Champion RBH values by acting with integrity, delivering excellence, showing ambition and demonstrating care.
  • Foster strong working relationships across all hotel departments.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Proven senior finance experience within a branded hotel, hospitality environment or comparable multi-department operation.
  • Strong technical accounting, financial control, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis skills.
  • Experience producing management accounts, owner reporting and financial commentary.
  • Excellent understanding of internal controls, compliance and audit requirements.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership level.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail and deadline management.
  • High standards of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with hotel finance systems, PMS, POS and financial reporting platforms would be advantageous.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Experience working within a branded hotel environment is preferred.
