Director of Finance and Accounts - Andras House Ltd - Exclusive to VANRATH

Join the Board of Directors at Andras House Ltd and play a pivotal role in shaping the next stage of growth for Northern Ireland's most dynamic and respected property development and hospitality group.

Andras House Ltd is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Director of Finance & Accounts to provide strategic financial leadership across this £50m business. With two new hotels under construction and further investment planned, this is a unique opportunity to influence the future direction of a growing Northern Ireland business.

About you

You will be a driven and ambitious finance leader with the commercial acumen and leadership capability to help deliver the Group's growth plans. You'll bring strong accounting and senior industry experience and be ready to operate at Board level, working closely with Directors and Senior Managers across the business.

You'll be commercially minded, people-focused and comfortable rolling up your sleeves to provide practical financial support to operational managers.

Requirements

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with at least 5 years' post qualified experience gained in a senior leadership role.
  • Significant experience in the preparation of financial reports, budgeting, management accounts and year-end accounts for audit.
  • Experience of working in a multi-site environment.
  • Highly analytical with excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Skilled communicator, able to relay information effectively.
  • Experience of NetSuite and Sage Payroll ideally, or other ERP and payroll system experience.

What you'll do

  • Provide strategic financial leadership across the Group and contribute to Board-level decision making.
  • Support growth and investment through feasibility studies, cash flow modelling and securing finance.
  • Oversee financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit, taxation and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, ensuring strong financial control.
  • Partner with operational managers to improve performance and support commercial decision-making.
  • Oversee procurement, debtors, creditors, payroll and financial reconciliations.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring robust systems, controls and accurate reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement through new processes, systems and technology.
