Finance Director

Location: London (3–4 days per week in office)
Salary: £120,000 per annum full time (4 day week, pro rata also available)
Additions to package may be discussed.

About the Company

This is a high-growth, creative media and data-led business at a defining moment in its journey. Following recent private equity investment, the company is entering an exciting new phase of controlled, accelerated growth.

The culture combines entrepreneurial energy with commercial ambition. It’s a business that values pace, clarity and intelligent challenge, where leaders are trusted to take ownership and shape the future.

With investment secured and strong growth forecast, this is an opportunity to join at exactly the right moment, helping build the financial foundations that will support the next stage of scale and your career.

The Role

This is a newly created, standalone Finance Director role and the first of its kind in the business.

You’ll join the senior leadership team and take full ownership of the finance function, operating hands-on while acting as a trusted partner to founders and investors.

This is not a large corporate FD position. It’s a high-impact, close-to-the-numbers leadership role where you will professionalise finance without over-engineering it, bringing structure, visibility and discipline while preserving the pace and culture that made the business successful.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading end-to-end financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and cash management.
  • Embedding investor-grade monthly reporting and board packs aligned to PE expectations.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re commercially sharp, hands-on and pragmatic. You’re comfortable operating in a standalone environment, enjoy building structure from scratch, and bring calm, credible leadership during periods of change.

You’re equally confident in the detail and at the board table. You know what “good” looks like in a PE-backed environment and can balance rigour with agility.
