Job Description
As Director of Finance, Customer, you will play a critical leadership role at the heart of the organisation. Partnering with the Chief Customer Officer and their team, you will provide strategic financial leadership across customer services, transformation and operational performance, ensuring resources are aligned to deliver the best possible outcomes for customers while driving value, efficiency and long-term sustainability.

- Provide strategic financial leadership to the Chief Customer Officer and their team, supporting planning, investment decisions and the transformation programme.
- Lead financial oversight of Orbits transformation programme, ensuring robust business cases and value-for-money outcomes.
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and financial insight that supports informed decision-making.
- Drive financial performance, control and value for money, ensuring strong governance, effective risk management and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop the finance team, building capability, fostering high performance and championing inclusion.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) with significant senior finance leadership experience.
- Strategic finance business partner with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, providing meaningful insight that supports business performance and strategic objectives.
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, including financial modelling and business case development.
- Experience leading finance support for large-scale transformation programmes, driving performance improvement, organisational change and value-for-money outcomes.
- Proven people leader, with experience developing high-performing finance teams; social housing or regulated experience in large customer focused organisations would be advantageous.

What's On Offer
- Salary ranging from £120,000 to £126,000 per annum, dependent on the level of experience.
