FP&A Director

London (with occasional travel)

Up to £200,000 + Excellent Benefits

Apointe has been exclusively retained to appoint an exceptional FP&A leader for a high-profile organisation embarking on an ambitious transformation journey. This is a rare opportunity to become the CFO's trusted partner, helping to shape strategy, influence executive decision-making and build a world-class finance function capable of supporting significant future growth.

This isn't a traditional FP&A role centred around reporting and budgeting. It's a highly commercial leadership position where your ability to translate complex data into strategic insight will directly influence business performance, investment decisions and long-term value creation.

For the right individual, this role offers a genuine pathway to CFO.

The Opportunity:

Working as the CFO's number two, you'll lead the evolution of Financial Planning & Analysis across the organisation, partnering with senior executives to provide meaningful commercial insight that drives better decisions. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, developing a high-performing business partnering function whilst creating the financial models, analysis and performance frameworks that support a fast-paced and continually evolving business. You'll be expected to challenge thinking, influence at Board level and become a trusted adviser to the executive leadership team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
