Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, London, Financial Services - £165,000 - £180,000 + package

We’re looking for an exceptional Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to take enterprise-wide ownership of the Group’s financial outlook, planning, performance and long-term value creation.

This is a high-impact strategic leadership role, working closely with the Group Finance Director, CFO, CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board. You’ll play a key role in shaping financial strategy, capital allocation and investment decisions, while acting as a senior voice in determining the choices and trade-offs that drive Group performance.

Key areas of accountability include:

  • Owning the Group’s short, medium and long-term financial outlook, including 3–10+ year scenario planning
  • Leading Group budgeting, forecasting and performance delivery
  • Owning capital allocation strategy, investment decisions and valuation outcomes
  • Driving cost management, efficiency and enterprise transformation
  • Turning financial data and insight into clear decisions and measurable value
  • Owning the financial narrative for Executive and Board reporting
  • Leading the transformation of FP&A into a forward-looking, decision-owning function
  • Building and developing a high-performing FP&A team and leadership pipeline
  • Strengthening financial governance, decision frameworks and accountability across the Group

Experience Needed:

  • Over 10 years’ experience in Group FP&A form a large, complex organisation – preferably listed
  • A background in Banking, Insurance or other Financial Services is ideal
  • Strong leadership skills are essential
  • Must have experience in Finance Change and Transformation
  • Must have strong MI and Data systems experience, Anaplan would be an advantage
  • A brilliant relationship manager with the ability to influence at the highest level
