Director of Finance Services

Your new role

We have the opportunity of a Director of Finance Services to join our client’s team in Paddington, London. The team works on hybrid working basis and are also open to remote opportunities.

  • Contract Length: 6 months
  • Location: Paddington, London (2 days onsite)
  • Daily rate: Competitive pay rate (inside IR35 Umbrella)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours

Role Purpose

As a Director of Finance Services, you are accountable for the strategic and operational leadership of VOIS Finance Services on a scale. This position holds end-to-end ownership of service outcomes and the performance of a large, geographically dispersed organisation, with a strong focus on building high-performing teams and driving sustainable productivity and effectiveness. This role plays a key part in shaping and evolving the Finance Services portfolio through proactive relationship management, continuous service improvement, and innovation. Identifying, capturing, and scaling value-creation opportunities is a core responsibility.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA) with significant senior-level finance operations experience, within a complex global organisation.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, geographically dispersed finance/shared services teams across multiple countries and entities.
  • Strong end-to-end Finance Services expertise, covering areas such as RTR, P2P, Tax, Intercompany, statutory reporting and financial controls.
  • Telecommunications industry experience, with strong commercial and business understanding.
  • Exceptional senior stakeholder and customer management skills, combined with experience delivering finance transformation, process improvement, automation and operational efficiencies.
