At Hyatt, we believe in the power of belonging and creating a culture of care, where our colleagues become family. Since 1957, our colleagues and our guests have been at the heart of our business and helped Hyatt become one of the best, and fastest growing hospitality brands in the world. Our transformative growth and the addition of new hotels, brands and business lines can open the door for exciting career and growth opportunities to our colleagues.

Your Role

The Director of Franchise EAME acts as the primary liaison between Hyatt Hotels Corporation and franchise owners and third-party management operators. In this highly collaborative role, you will help drive accountability and performance across an assigned portfolio, with a focus on market share, brand health, commercial performance, core metrics, and the successful delivery of Hyatt brand initiatives.

You will build trusted relationships with owners and operators while partnering closely with colleagues across Development, Brand, Commercial Services, Finance, Legal, IT, Food & Beverage, Purchasing, Facilities, and other teams. Through these partnerships, you will help address owner and operator needs, strengthen alignment with Hyatt, and support hotels in operating efficiently and successfully.

Location: This position is based in either Germany, Spain or the UK. The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the European Union or in the UK.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead performance reviews with owners and operators, creating a clear understanding of Hyatt’s Core Metric performance expectations and driving accountability against them.
  • Engage owners and operators in meaningful performance conversations, providing recommendations and guidance to help optimize hotel results.
  • Support and enforce Hyatt accountability programs, including the Focused Improvement Policy, Brand Protection Program, Brand Compliant Program, Quality Assurance audits, and renovation policy.
  • Strategically support the delivery of Hyatt brand initiatives, ensuring owners and operators understand expectations, timelines, and implementation requirements.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders while developing a deep understanding of Hyatt’s business strategies, processes, and systems.
  • Coordinate solutions to owner and management company needs by partnering across Development, Product and Brand Design, Marketing, Purchasing, IT, Finance, Legal, Food & Beverage, Brand Support, Facilities, and other relevant teams.
  • Support Commercial Services guidance across Sales, Revenue Management, and Marketing to help grow hotel top-line revenue and increase Hyatt fee potential.
  • Monitor market share and brand health across the assigned owner/operator portfolio, identifying and escalating performance concerns as appropriate.
  • Represent Hyatt’s franchise performance priorities with owners and operators in a way that builds trust, reinforces accountability, and strengthens long-term alignment with Hyatt and its brands.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
