Project Yananai is looking for an exceptional fundraising leader to help build our global fundraising function from the ground up.
We are a growing UK-registered international charity working across India, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe, focused on breaking cycles of poverty through sustainable skills, community development and humanitarian support.
This is an opportunity to join us at an exciting stage of growth and shape our fundraising strategy, build the pipeline, open doors and secure significant funding.
The Opportunity
As Director of Fundraising, you will:
- Lead our global fundraising strategy and income-generation plans
- Build a diversified pipeline across foundations, institutional donors, corporates and major donors
- Personally cultivate and secure high-value funding opportunities
- Build and develop a growing international fundraising team
- Develop relationships with major donors, family offices and institutional funders
- Work closely with senior leadership to drive sustainable growth
- Help establish the systems, relationships and culture of a high-performing global fundraising function

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a senior fundraising professional with:
- 8–10+ years' senior fundraising experience
- A proven track record of securing six- and seven-figure income
- Experience developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies
- International experience is preferred
- An entrepreneurial, hands-on approach — someone who can both set the strategy and make the asks
