Interim Director of Group Reporting - £200,000 + Bonus - Central London | Hybrid Working
About the Role
FTSE-Listed Group
An opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Interim Director of Group Reporting to join a major FTSE-listed organisation in Central London.
Operating at group level and working closely with senior finance leadership, this is a highly visible role with responsibility for the integrity, quality and delivery of the Group's external and internal financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Group's monthly, quarterly and year-end consolidation and reporting processes.
- Take ownership of the production of high-quality Group financial statements and supporting reporting.
- Lead the preparation of statutory reporting requirements for a complex listed organisation.
- Manage the relationship with external auditors and ensure an efficient year-end audit process.
- Provide technical accounting leadership across complex IFRS matters and significant transactions.
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance and reporting standards are maintained across the Group.
- Partner with divisional finance teams to improve the quality, accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Lead and develop the Group Reporting team, providing clear direction and technical leadership.
- Support senior management, the CFO and wider leadership team with reporting, analysis and ad-hoc projects.
- Drive improvements to reporting processes, systems, controls and consolidation methodologies.
- Support acquisitions, disposals, restructuring activity and other significant corporate transactions where required.

Candidate Profile:
You will be a senior, technically strong finance professional with extensive experience operating within a large, complex listed environment. You are likely to have:
- ACA qualification, ideally with a background in a leading accountancy firm.
- Significant Group Reporting and consolidation experience within a FTSE-listed or similarly complex international organisation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and listed-company reporting requirements.
- Experience leading sizeable or senior finance teams.
- A strong track record of managing external audit relationships.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the credibility to operate at CFO, Audit Committee and senior leadership level.
- Experience improving reporting processes, controls and finance systems.
- The ability to quickly understand a complex organisation and deliver within demanding reporting deadlines.

This is a senior interim appointment offering considerable exposure across a major listed business and would suit an experienced Group Reporting Director, Director of Financial Reporting, Group Financial Controller or senior finance leader accustomed to operating within complex FTSE environments.

£200,000 + Bonus
