Our client is one of the UK's leading technology businesses, currently undergoing a significant transformation as it evolves from a traditional lead generation platform into a modern, product-led marketplace. Backed by substantial investment and ambitious growth plans, they're now looking to appoint a Director of Growth to lead growth across the Trade side of the business.
Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue Engine, this is one of the most strategically important commercial hires within the organisation. - Own the end-to-end growth strategy across the Trade business, driving customer acquisition, activation, conversion, retention and lifetime value.
- Lead the evolution from a traditional acquisition-led model to a sophisticated, data-driven growth engine.
- Shape investment strategy across multiple acquisition channels, identifying new growth opportunities beyond paid marketing.
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, CRM, Data and Commercial teams to optimise customer journeys and influence product roadmap decisions.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary Growth team, with the opportunity to reshape the team structure and operating model as the function evolves.
- Join a business investing heavily in AI, experimentation and automation, where innovation and continuous optimisation sit at the heart of the culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
