Job Opportunities at a National Organisation

Lincoln Cornhill is proud to be working with a national organisation who provide support to vulnerable service users to access suitable services including temporary accommodation.

Joining the organisation at a period of growth, we are seeking to appoint two new leaders on a permanent basis including a Director of Housing & Support (Mobilisation) and a Director of Operations.

Location

Ability to travel extensively/stay overnight is critical to delivering the responsibilities of this role effectively

Package

£85,000 - £90,000 per annum + Car Allowance/Company Car

Office locations/hubs/services

On site presence is required across hubs which are located across the UK

Role Descriptions

Director of Housing & Support (Mobilisation)

The Director of Housing & Support (Mobilisation) will have end-to-end responsibility for every new service, from the point of commissioning through set-up, opening and early operation until the service is functioning as business as usual until any issues are resolved. You will translate each commission into a clear delivery plan, timetable, budget, ownership structure and business as usual criteria.

Director of Operations

The Director of Operations will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of all established operational schemes, ensuring Supported Housing and accommodation-based services operate safely, consistently and effectively once they have moved into business-as-usual delivery. A central part of the role is to introduce and embed clear, consistent processes and procedures across operations and to ensure all operational support functions are aware of issues affecting schemes.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Direct experience establishing and opening new supported accommodation or social housing or care services
  • Strong project or programme management experience, including delivery through multiple teams to fixed deadlines
  • Ability to travel extensively is critical to delivering the responsibilities of this role effectively
  • Experienced in taking new services through launch, early operation, problem resolution and transition to business as usual
  • Experienced in managing senior stakeholders, budgets, compliance risks and competing priorities
  • Significant senior operational leadership experience in supported housing, social housing, outsourced services or a related environment
  • Leading multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed teams
