YOUR ROLE

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Leading go‑to‑market engagement and business development with clients, shaping HR technology and employee‑experience solutions built on platforms such as Microsoft Viva, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and ServiceNow HRSD, as well as out of the box functionality from HR ERPs (SAP, Workday, Oracle etc.) and translating client needs into clear, compelling transformation propositions. Helping clients move into a unified colleague experience platform environment.
  • Developing and strengthening the practice’s capability, ensuring consultants are skilled across HR AI solutions from Microsoft 365 (Viva, Copilot Studio), Google Workspace with Gemini, and AI within major HR platforms, with robust methods, assets, and standards in place to support high‑quality delivery. Ensuring the team are able to translate business outcomes into the right North Star Tech stack.
  • Driving innovation across the HR technology landscape, staying ahead of advances in employee‑experience tooling such as Viva, Copilot and Gemini, and helping clients understand how these developments reshape communication, knowledge, service delivery and the wider role of HR.
  • Overseeing the delivery of complex HR technology engagements, ensuring solutions integrate effectively across Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace and ServiceNow channels such as Google Chat and Teams, and that they accommodate local policy, language and operational requirements.
  • Shaping and governing the North Star HR technology architecture, defining how Viva/Copilot, Gemini, ServiceNow and HRIS platforms fit together within a client’s ecosystem, and providing senior guidance on platform selection, sourcing, integration and adoption strategy. Typically, as part of a wider HR Transformation.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Business & Methods - Translates complex HR/GBS workflows into structured, value‑driven solutions. Defines future‑state operating models, sets transformation methods, and builds clear business cases. Understands the shift to unified colleague experience platforms and the implications for HR service delivery, global processes, and language needs.
  • Capgemini Invent DNA - Curious, collaborative, and comfortable challenging the status quo. Applies a human‑centred, design‑led approach and leverages modern platforms (workflow, automation, EX suites) to simplify and elevate the colleague experience across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and ServiceNow ecosystems.
  • Leadership - Builds a high‑performing HR technology capability; coaches consultants across disciplines; and influences senior stakeholders. Brings strong stakeholder management and executive presence, aligning cross‑functional teams to a clear colleague‑experience vision.
  • Technical - Deep knowledge of HR tech and EX stacks: ServiceNow HRSD (case, lifecycle, knowledge, workflow), Microsoft Viva/Copilot (including Copilot Studio), Google Workspace with Gemini, and major HRIS platforms. Shapes North Star architectures and advises on platform selection, interoperability, security, and adoption.

Helpful (but not required) Certifications:

  • Certified Implementation Specialist – HRSD (ServiceNow)
  • Microsoft Power Platform / Copilot Studio credential (maker/functional consultant level)
  • Google Workspace Administrator (or Google Cloud Digital Leader as an alternative)
  • Certifications on HR ERP platforms (SAP, Workday, Oracle)

Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background. Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions. Experience of proposition building and delivery. Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c.£2m of consulting revenues (Director) /c.4m of consulting revenues (Vice President).
