Head of Identity & Access Management (IAM) - Financial Services

(Excellent Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits)

We are partnering with a highly successful global organisation operating within a complex, environment to appoint a Head of Identity & Access Management.

This is a strategic leadership position for an experienced IAM professional who combines strong engineering credentials with the ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide identity transformation.

Rather than being a hands-on engineering role, this is a player-manager opportunity where your technical background will enable you to challenge architecture, guide engineering decisions and lead the delivery of a modern Identity and Privileged Access Management strategy.

Working across a highly complex technology estate, you will be responsible for shaping the future of authentication, identity governance, privileged access and access lifecycle management while leading a high-performing engineering function.

The Role

As Head of IAM, you will own the strategic direction and operational delivery of the organisation's Identity & Access Management capability.

You'll work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Platform and Technology leadership to ensure identity services are secure, scalable and engineered to support a modern cloud-first environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
