Head Resourcing is working exclusively with a fast-growing healthcare diagnostics and technology business who are looking for an experienced Technology Director to lead and deliver the technology strategy.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior technology leader with experience in regulated, healthcare, laboratory services, health tech, or medical environments to shape the future technology landscape of a scaling business.
Reporting to the executive leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving digital transformation, platform development, systems integration, data governance, cybersecurity, and operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's technology strategy and roadmap.
- Lead the evolution of technology platforms, systems architecture, and infrastructure to support growth and scalability.
- Oversee API integrations with laboratory partners, suppliers, and third-party providers.
- Drive the development of client-facing integrations and digital platforms.
- Establish robust data quality, monitoring, reporting, and incident management capabilities.
- Lead technology initiatives supporting warehouse, logistics, and fulfillment operations.
- Strengthen cybersecurity, governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with technology partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic technology leadership while remaining close to operational delivery.

Essential Experience
- Senior technology leadership experience.
- Experience delivering technology strategy within a scaling business.
- Strong knowledge of API architecture, systems integration, and platform development.
- Experience leading digital transformation and business-critical technology programmes.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, modern software architectures, and cybersecurity.
- Experience implementing governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Highly Desirable
- Experience within healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory services, life sciences, medical devices, health technology, or other regulated environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare data flows, laboratory integrations, or clinical systems.
- Experience working with logistics, fulfillment, warehouse management, or ERP platforms.
- Experience building and developing high-performing technology teams.
