About NUS Consulting Group
NUS Consulting Group is a leading international energy management and sustainability consultancy, helping commercial and industrial clients across the UK, Europe, and beyond navigate complex energy markets. With deep expertise spanning electricity and gas regulation, energy procurement strategy, risk management, and market intelligence, we support clients in optimizing cost, risk, and compliance in an increasingly dynamic energy landscape.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our technology strategy and operations as NUS continues to grow across international markets. This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the President's office, responsible for ensuring our technology infrastructure, data systems, and digital tools support the delivery of high-value client services — including our energy data portal and pricing platforms.
You will own the technology roadmap end-to-end: from infrastructure and cybersecurity to data governance and platform development, while building and leading a high-performing IT team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
